Items For the Spring 2008 GSP 1010 Final Exam Review

0. There will be optional review sessions at these times:

		 2 Mar Sunday    7:00 PM in CAP 112
		 3 Mar Monday    7:00 PM in CAP 112

During the optional review we will go over the Sample Final Exam, which 
        is located at the course web site.

1. The final exam is comprehensive so look over the text readings.
	Read the Summaries of the chapters, the concept maps and when you 
	don't understand the ideas, read that part of the chapter. Work a 
	problem or two from each chapter. Look over the class lectures on 
	the web.

3. Look over your hour test and the quizes.

4. When you go over the Sample Final Exam you may omit the following 
	questions as we did not cover some of the chapters because of
        classes being cancelled.

                    #9, 21-24, 29, 30-32

5. Make sure you bring the list of equations for both the hour exam and 
	the final exam to the test. You may write navigational notes on 
	the equation sheets to help understand the equations. 

6. Bring a number 2 pencil and calculator with you.

7. Get a good night's rest before the exam.

8. The exam has 100 items and you have an average of one minute per item.
   	The structure of the exam is like the hour exam and the review 
	final exam. There are multiple choice, true false and fill in 
	the blank questions. There will also be problems which you may 
	answer by choice selection or you may work it out by the GURU CA 
	method for partial credit. Answers will be placed on a computer 
	scan sheet.  

9. The exam is on Wed 5 Mar. For those who need extra time, It will start 
        at 6:45AM. The exam normally starts at 7:00 AM, in room CAP 112.
        In the event that classes are cancelled, the test will be Friday
        March 7th at 6:45 AM.   

10. The first class of GSC-1020 will meet on Friday 7 March at 8 AM 
	in CAP 112, unless you have taken the Final on that date then it 
	will start on Monday 17 Mar.


11. We will post the exam near the classroom door, so put a posting number 
        on the exam.
